Sponsorship

Fons is a small premium brand and therefore cannot afford to sponsor large teams. We do sponsor women or organizations that we find inspiring and that want to propagate the same as Fons. We would like to get in contact with these inspiring people or organizations so that we can see if and how we can help each other.

During our development process and the creation of the brand Fons, we were inspired by many different women within the cycling world and beyond. But by one woman especially: Alfonsina Strada! She finished the Giro D'italia in 1924, making her the first and only woman to ever race the Giro di Italia. Alfonsina fought hard against the prevailing prejudices and imposed norms and values of that time. We found this amazing part of cycling history so inspiring that we decided to name our brand after her as a tribute to Alfonsina. We are always looking for organizations or people who inspire us as much as
Alfonsina Strada.
